Assistance with household tasks and related activities. Homemaker services assist those 60 and over with disabilities that have experienced a loss in the ability to perform the daily living activities required to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy living environment. A Jasper County Case Manager will assess the need of services and provide authorization for services to be provided by Jasper County Community Services, Inc.
To apply for the above services call 2-1-1 from any land line phone for eligibility through Northwest Indiana Community Action. If approved there is no fee.
Private Pay Homemaker
Jasper County Community Services provides services through Private Pay arrangements for those 60 and over, or those with disabilities, that may restrict ability to maintain the above mentioned tasks within the home. A Jasper County representative will schedule an in home evaluation to assess the needs and determine if services can be provided. After the in home assessment services may then be scheduled. There is no waiting period before services can be started. Payment can be at the time of services or services can be billed at the beginning of the following month. All in home service employees are bonded, have criminal history background checks and must meet requirements of Jasper County Community Services employment mandates.
